Abel Balbo is an Argentine former footballer who plays as a striker for Classic Argentina. By the time the PES series started Balbo's career was almost over and the first glimpse of his greatness was available when he was added to the Classic Argentina team in PES 2009. Balibo is the name that he uses after retirement as Konami don't hold the licence for the classic players. Balbo faces a lot of competition for a place in the Classic Argentina team from the likes of Batistuta and Valdano but in a Master League team he is likely to be more effective.
