Alex Manninger is an Austrian goalkeeper playing for Juventus in Serie A. Manninger caused controversy by signing for Udinese but not actually making an appearance for them as he signed for Juve two weeks later, he was the second keeper signed by Juve from Udinese that summer, the other being Antonio Chimenti. Manninger was signed as a back up to Buffon but due to his injury he has seen first team action. Manninger has played for a numerous amount of clubs but arguably his most famous club was his 5 years at Arsenal where he was back to David Seaman.
