Although he doesn't appear in the Brazilian national squad on PES 2008, dubbed the next big thing, some say he is already one of Brazil's best strikers as he has already moved above Vagner Love and Nilmar in the international pecking order.

A quality player in Master League, he has a peak of 91, although this was upgraded to 95 after the February Update. He is definitely one of the best youngsters in the Serie A along with Giovinco of Juventus and Balotelli and Santon of Inter and the only downside is that AC Milan will battle until the end to keep their prized asset.

Pato received another stat boost that raised his peak stats (Acceleration and Dribble Speed) up to the red zone at 95. However his Long Pass Accuracy, Long Pass Speed and Shot Accuracy were lowered but he gained some points in Header, Jump and a few points in other stats making his overall higher than PES 2010.
