[edit] Previous Versions

He is also known as Song Bilong in earlier versions of the game. Song originally started out as a centre back but has moved into the center of midfield. Much like Johan Djourou and Emmanuel Eboue, Song is seen as a utility player for Arsenal. His ability to perform sliding tackles and demanding headers gives him a huge presence on the pitch.

[edit] PES 2010

He is given his first Preset Face in PES 2010. He also received a stat boost in the February Update and his registered position has been changed from centre back to defensive midfielder, reflecting the position switch he made at Arsenal. He is well known in the Master League for his impressive development curve which turns him into one of the best defensive midfielders in the game.

[edit] PES 2011

Song received the playstyle card Anchor Man, meaning he is a deep sitting defensive midfielder protecting the back line. Song features as Arsenal's main defensive midfielder with an overall rating of 74 and has made the role his own with next to no competition for his place with arguably Denilson and Abou Diaby being the only threat to his position but they tend to play different roles elsewhere in the pitch. Song is also known to burst forward in attack so grabs a handful of a goals for a defensive player.

[edit] PES 2012

He received a little stat boost as well as the playstyle card Enforcer in addition to the Anchor Man one. He also obtained a new preset face with blonde hair and beard.

[edit] PES 2013

Song plays for Barcelona after a summer move in real life.

[edit] Trivia

He is the nephew of former Cameroon captain, Rigobert Song, a centre back who played in England with Liverpool.
