Amauri is a Brazilian-Italian footballer who plays for Juventus and is uncapped as a Brazilian but is still eligible to play for them. He is a late bloomer as he only came to prominence at the age of 26 playing for former club Palermo. His stats are likely to be increased after moving to Juventus. He recently confirmed his preference to play for Brazil over Italy but has also stated that if he was called up for the Italian side he would accept the offer and has asked to acquire an Italian passport.

It is worth noting that along with other team mates, Alessandro Del Piero and Sebastian Giovinco he received a stat boost in the February Update.

Playing Style

Amauri is strong and a good finisher, he works best when playing alongside a quick striker such as Mauro Zarate as he is not the quickest player with the ball. Alternatively he can be played as a lone CF due to his strength and ability to hold up the ball.
