Andrea Pirlo is an Italian international midfielder who plays for Juventus.

[edit] Previous PES Installments

Pirlo has made all his Pro Evolution appearances with AC Milan and received a Preset Face in PES 4 where he was seen as one of the games best midfielders, this trend has continued throughout the installments for each game.

[edit] PES 2009

Pirlo is present in AC Milan's starting eleven but in Master League is deemed an old player much like the AC Milan squad with veteran's such as Clarence Seedorf, Filippo Inzaghi, Massimo Ambrosini and Alessandro Nesta, which is why many gamers who choose AC Milan in Master League completely overhaul the squad with younger players.

[edit] PES 2010

He features the card Pinpoint Pass so he is able to play quality passes from deep as well as once again featuring for the Italian national team.

[edit] PES 2011

Despite his continual ageing, he is still an exceptional playmaker with an extremely high Long Pass Accuracy of 97, matched with his high Short Pass Accuracy and Short Pass Speed near the mid-90's. Therefore this makes him one of the best passers in the whole game, able to split open the defences with ease. He is also a very capable free kick specialist with 95 Curling and 90 Free Kick Accuracy.

He has the playstyle cards Pinpoint Pass and the skill cards Passer, PK Taker, 1-touch Play, Roulette Skills and Step-On Skills.

[edit] PES 2012

He plays for Juventus in PES 2012.

[edit] Playing Style

Pirlo is a terrific midfielder in the game. He dictates games with his pinpoint pass accuracy and he has the guile and technique to set up attacks with his high dribbling accuracy.

Pirlo works best, as in real life, with a player considered to be a 'workhorse' like Gattuso and this is one of the reasons why AC Milan midfield worked so efficiently in the past games.

He is among the best corner takers in the game, with brilliant free kick, swerve and long pass accuracy stats. He is also a threat from direct free-kicks with the same ability and his free-kick style is easy to use. Many liken him to Juninho, because they are both deadly with their passing, shooting and dead ball specialities.
