Argentina (pronounced ar-jen-TEE-na) are a football team that have appeared in every game in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. They are classed as being one of the best national teams in the game due to having so many world class attacking players. They were licensed for the first time in PES6 and play in a home strip of sky blue and white striped shirts, black shorts and white socks and an away strip of navy blue shirts, white shorts and navy blue socks.

Tactics & Players

Like Brazil the best way to use Argentina is to attack. This means either a 4-4-2 formation with 2 holding midfielders, usually Javier Mascherano and Fernando Gago and 2 attacking or side midfielders or 4-3-3 again with 2 holding midfielders but 1 attacking midfielder in Juan Roman Riquelme supporting 2 support strikers (normally Lionel Messi & Carlos Tevez) and 1 out and out striker (usually Hernan Crespo). The defence and goalkeeper is seen as the weak link due to no really world class players in these positions.
