Aston Villa (affectionately known as West Midlands Village in various editions of the PES series) are an English Premier League side that can be used in the PES series. The club has been available to use in each game of the series. They play with a home strip of claret and light blue shirts, white shorts and light blue socks which is similar to West Ham's home kit.

Players

Aston Villa are a pacey counter-attacking side in real life, and are the same in PES. Brad Friedel is a solid goalkeeper in the game, Curtis Davies and Wilfred Bouma shore up the back. These defenders are notable for their goals from set-pieces, given the introduction in PES08 of the ability to take defenders up for corners. Aston Villa have solid central midfielders such as Steve Sidwell, Stilian Petrov and Nigel Reo-Coker which present a platform for the attacking players. This is where 'Villa' come to life with the lightning quick Gabriel Agbonlahor, silky winger Ashley Young, the young Nathan Delfouneso and powerful striker John Carew. The addition of Emile Heskey will add more depth to their striking department, however if Villa are to improve on their impressive progress, they need to keep hold of their star players; having allowed Gareth Barry to join Manchester City. Unfortunately Martin Laursen has had to retire due to injury and as such, a new club captain will need to be appointed.
