Athletic Club are a Spanish club playing in the La Liga. In real life Athletic Club have an unusual transfer policy as they only buy players from the Basque region in Spain and all their players are home-grown. So not only are all their players Spanish but they are all Basque, but unfortunately in PES they do not follow this trend in Master League as they buy the best players they possibly can.

Their two main players have been very impressive throughout the PES series and these are; Francisco Yeste and Joseba Etxeberria, their most promising player is Fernando Llorente.
