Bradley "Brad" Friedel is an American goalkeeper playing for Aston Villa. In PES 2009 he is registered as a Blackburn player so needs to be registered in Villa's line up. At an age so close to retirement many thought he would transfer back to America to finish his career but he opted to go the Midlands. Furthermore, he broke the record for the most consecutive Premiership appearances to secure his place in English football history. Brad has been known as one of the best goalkeepers the English League has ever had and his stats reflect this. It is almost certain he will retire in his first season in Master League so is best snapped up on a free transfer when he is reborn as a 17 year old rookie.
