Sanchez has had a controversial affair with PES 2009 after being axed from the original Tottenham squad in the game, many felt the side were weaker in that area in Exhibition and League modes as Ben Alnwick was the only back up to Heurelho Gomes, but he was later introduced in the November Update and was given a Preset Face. He was then added to the Valencia squad after the February Update after Timo Hildebrand's move back to Germany.

Sanchez is an old keeper who has previously played for Real Madrid and Zaragoza but is close to retirement so is worth buying after he is regenerated in Master League, despite that he still provides good cover for the Che.
