Classic England are an unlockable team after the World Cup is beaten with England. Their squad consists of great England players of the past who have now retired from professional football. Players to watch out for are playmaker Paul Gascoigne, strikers Alan Shearer, John Barnes and Gary Lineker and Tony Adams.

In this edition, the team is named Eternal England and can be unlocked by winning the European Cup as England.

In PES 2009 the team was modernised and players such as Kevin Keegan and Peter Shilton were removed. In some previous PES games players such as Bobby Moore, Alan Ball and Bobby Charlton from the 1966 World Cup winning team were available and many PES users were disappointed when they were removed.

The players in the squad have fake names due to licensing issues so in order to tell which player is which they need to be changed to their correct names.
