Daniel Passarella is an Argentine former footballer. In PES he has been in every version of the Classic Argentina squad and few would argue with this as he has won many caps and is the only player to feature in both of Argentina's World Cup victories in 1978 and 1986. He is known as Palteza because of poor licensing and many people consider him just as important as players such as Maradona and Batistuta. He is also widely seen as one of the best defenders in the game and the best defender to wear the blue and white of Argentina. An added bonus is that he is also capable of scoring directly from a free kick and he is the main free kick taker for Classic Argentina much like Zico is for Classic Brazil.
