Danny Alves (full name Daniel Miguel Alves Gomes) is a Venezuelan-born Portuguese midfielder who currently plays for Zenit St. Petersburg and although the Russian team is included in PES 2009, Danny does not feature.

Although there was a November Update, Danny was still missing from the Zenit squad to the disappointment of many PES fans. Thankfully after the February Update he was added to the game and immediately becomes a key player in the Zenit team after the departure of Arshavin.

He might get better stats because of the speculation that he will move to Barca, and he would join with Dani Alves.
