David Villa (pronounced VEE-yuh) is a Spanish striker nicknamed El Guaje meaning The Kid, much like fellow countryman and striker Fernando Torres. He currently plays for Valencia and the Spanish national team. A well known goal scorer, Villa has a good reputation in every PES game in which he appears, due to his consistently high stats.

Villa shone in the European Championships in real life helping his nation lift the trophy thus making him a target for almost every high profile club but he stayed at Valencia. Due to his amazing performances he may well be even better in PES 2009.

Villa is an incredible asset to any team due to his ability to finish almost anything inside the box and his dribbling ability which he just glides through defences. With all these amazing stats it is understandable why he is considered to be the one of the best strikers in the game, which also makes him almost impossible to secure his services in Master League as Valencia are very reluctant to sell him.
