Didier Deschamps (pronounced DAY-shom) is a former footballer best known for captaining France when they won the 1998 World Cup, he is now a Classic France player. At club level he has had spells at Juventus, Marseille and Chelsea. He was a member of the French "Golden Generation" which included players such as Zidane, Desailly and Djorkaeff. Although he's a solid defensive midfielder, he is unfortunately limited when going forward and Cantona famously said that he existed only to pass to other players. This is similar in PES where he often plays well without gaining much attention and praise, like an unsung hero. When he is unlocked his name needs to be changed from Deroem.
