Diego Alves is a Brazilian goalkeeper who plays for Almeria in La Liga.

PES 2009

In this installment Diego was found out to be a Master League gem with his already decent default ability and age he was worth signing but with a peak of 95 it made him one of the best, if not the best, goalkeeper in the game.

PES 2010

Diego's stats and appearance remain unchanged and he is still the keeper to get in this game. After a few seasons his overall ability is already 87 in Master League having started with 74. Furthermore after a few seasons, his goalkeeper based stats are also all very high, Defence 95, Jump 93, Goalkeeping Skills 95, making him definitely one of the best goalkeepers in the game. However due to his high stats and importance to Almeria, it will be very hard to prise him away without splashing the cash.
