Diego Simeone (pronounced sim-ee-OH-nee) is a former footballer who now appears as an unlicensed player for Classic Argentina. Simeone has appeared in PES in the past for Atletico Madrid and Lazio as well as the Argentina national team. He will be remembered for getting Beckham sent off in the 1998 World Cup amongst England supporters but in the PES series he is remembered as a reliable defensive midfielder who was Argentina's most capped player before he was overtaken by Roberto Ayala and Javier Zanetti.
