Eidur Gudjohnsen is an Icelandic striker playing for AEK Athens.

[edit] PES 5

Gudjohnsen is at his peak and has some amazing ratings: 95 in Shot Technique, 86 in Attack, Body Balance and Shot Accuracy, 88 in Response and 90 in Team Work.

[edit] PES 2008

After moving to Barcelona and being used as an impact substitute, his stats started to deteriorate.

[edit] PES 2009

He was absent from the original version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for unknown reasons but was correctly added in the November Update.

Controversially he was then axed from the Barcelona squad in the February Update for unknown reasons and added yet again in the March Update.

For Barcelona standards, Gudjohnsen was only an average player and was behind the likes to Eto'o, Messi, Henry and Bojan in the pecking order, it seemed that Barcelona is too big of a club for Eidur.

[edit] PES 2010

In the demo of the game, he still plays for Barcelona despite transferring to Monaco. He has the card Dummy Runner which attracts the defenders to create space for fellow players to exploit. He received a stat drop in the February Update and most of his yellow stats were lowered to the green zone. Most notably his Top Speed passed from 83 to 77, his Response from 85 to 78, Short Pass Speed from 86 to 77 and Teamwork from 92 to 82. Still a good striker, he was generally cooled down in this update and he is not one of the best tall second strikers in the game like he was in his Barcelona years.

After the March Update he has now transferred to Tottenham and is considered a vital player due to his goalscoring ability.

[edit] PES 2011

Gudjohnsen plays for Stoke City after a summer switch. He re-gained some points in Body Balance (84) and Team Work (85).

[edit] PES 2012

He moved to AEK Athens during the summer and is considered the best forward of the Greek side.
