England (pronounced ING-l'nd) are one of the best European international teams on PES. Despite having a star-packed team, they usually perform below-par in real life. However; they are one of the strongest national sides to play against in PES. They also feature a licensed kit, badge and preset player faces.
Their home stadium, Wembley has also been added in the latest PES game, PES 2009. PES 2009 is also the official game of the England national team and because of this the kit was updated during the Version 1.40 patch.

[edit] Tactics & Players
Despite playing with a default 4-5-1, many believe a formation of 4-4-2 seems to be the best suited for the side. A strong back four that contains Rio Ferdinand, John Terry in the middle with Wes Brown and Ashley Cole as full-backs, they have one of the best defence in the game. However, their midfield is without-doubt their strongest area with players like Gerrard, Lampard for creativity and Michael Carrick along with Gareth Barry playing the role of a holding midfielder. Also, players like Joe Cole, Theo Walcott and David Beckham provide great cover on the wings meanwhile star-man Rooney occupies the forward position with the support of either Heskey or Owen when playing a 4-4-2.
[edit] PES 2010
England feature some new faces and the most controversial off all is the inclusion of Scott Carson because in more recent times, cover has either been in the place of Ben Foster, Joe Hart or Paul Robinson so Carson's inclusion does come as a shock.
Matthew Upson and Robert Green makes their PES England debuts whilst Michael Owen, Owen Hargreaves, David Bentley and Wayne Bridge all fail to retain their spots in the 23 man squad.
Players that missed out on the England squad despite being called up recently are, Phil Jagielka, Carlton Cole, James Milner and Ben Foster.
[edit] PES 2011
After the Version 1.02 update, England received their new look kit. However the roster wasn't updated since Emile Heskey has now retired from international football.
