RCD Espanyol is a Spanish football club that plays in La Liga. They are a mid-table quality team and have traditionally always been the second best Barcelona-based team. Their key players are goalkeeper Carlos Kameni, defenders Steve Finnan and Nicolas Pareja and the two Spanish strikers Luis Garcia Fernandez (not the former Liverpool one) and Raul Tamudo.

They also have the veteran, Ivan de la Pena who has been a great player in PES since its creation. He is known for scoring brilliant free kicks.

Daniel Jarque, a centre back, who was the captain of the team died because of a heart attack before the beginning of the 2009/2010 season.
