Having lined up with Ronaldinho and Ludovic Giuly for a few PES years, the emergence of Lionel Messi proved to be fatal for most defences, but the club having signed Thierry Henry the attack was deemed unlimited and it is argued this was the most effective attacking line up for Barca in recent years.

His main weapon is his pace but he is also a lethal finisher and must never be underestimated. When playing alongside Henry and Messi goals should be expected. He is one of the reasons why Barcelona is a popular choice among online players. He was part of the deal that brought Ibrahimovic to Barcelona.

Eto'o features in an all new attack at Inter Milan lining up with Argentine Diego Milito, brother of former Barcelona team-mate Gabriel. The duo replace the ever popular attack of Ibrahimovic and Adriano. Due to having high stats, they are considered to be one of the best striking partners in the game.
Eto'o has had a stat boost in this game and the difference between him and many other strikers is noticeably present as his dribbles and pace can make light work of any defence. He is argued to be the best default striker on the game.
He has the card Chasing Back where at a given chance he will race back and help the defence much like the style of Wayne Rooney.

After moving to Anzhi in the summer, his stats were lowered a little bit. Anyway he gained the Skill card Speed Merchant, which enables high speed turning skills, making him even deadlier if given some space to run into.

Eto'o stats remained the same of PES 2012 apart from Attack that was lowered from 94 to 90.

Eto'o has appeared in an unlicensed Cameroon squad for many installments of the game but throughout the different striking partners he has had, he has remained as the country's leading scorer and, playing as Cameroon without him, leaves the nation very limited in attack.
