Fluminense FC are a Brazilian sports club based in Rio de Janeiro. They were Libertadores finalists in 2008, losing to LDU, and in 2009, they almost got relegated. They reached the Sudamericana Final, again, losing to LDU, but in 2010, they were National Champions. They are the current champions of the Brazilian League.

Fluminense made his first appearance in the PES series as a fully licensed team in the Copa Libertadores game mode in PES 2012. The Tricolor is the current champion of the Stadual Championship of Rio De Janeiro and League. Fluminense revealed players like Marcelo, Thiago Silva and twin brothers Fabio and Rafael. Fluminense is currently one of the best teams in Brazil, and in the whole South America, due to their participations on Libertadores and usually finishing between the best teams on the league.

Fluminense is one of the best teams to choose in the Libertadores mode, with great strikers such as Fred and Rafael Sobis, a good midfield with Deco and Thiago Neves, and quality defenders such as Gum and Anderson. They can pretty much play in any formation, with the versatility the team has.
