|Position||CMF, AMF, DMF, SS|
|Club Squad No.||4|
|Nation Squad No.||10|
|Key stats (PES 2011)|| Stamina - 90|
Short Pass Accuracy - 91
Technique - 92
|Previous Clubs|| Arsenal |
 PES 4
Fabregas made his first appearance in PES as an Arsenal youngster under the name of Cesc. His stats are less than impressive with most hitting the low 70's and his development is pretty poor in the game. xav An early indication of his talents is that he has a Technique of 82, his strongest asset to his weak ability.
 PES 5
In PES 5, he is much improved from the previous edition, with the majority in his technical abilities such as dribbling and passing. His Technique is once against his highest skill which it is 87 while he also has high stats in Dribble Accuracy, Short Pass Accuracy, both of which are 84. Furthermore he has a Stamina, Long Pass Accuracy and Shot Power of 82. The rest of his stats however are very mediocre.
Fabregas is worth signing in this version as he already has decent stats and is very young at the age of 18.
 PES 6
PES 6 is seen as Fabregas' best Master League PES game as he becomes one of the best midfielders in the game once fully developed and is part of an elite group of Master League developers which include the likes of Jeremy Mathieu and Park Chu Young.
He features much of the same stats as in PES 5 with the stats that were in 80's in the last game staying the same. He does however improve in his Attack from 70 to 75 and his Short Pass Speed from 75 to 78. One area he has decreased in is Body Balance which saw a fall from 72 to 69.
Overall, because of his lack of improvement from the previous game and the addition of an extra year, his current ability has not improved as what most PES fans would have liked. His potential does make up for it, reaching the 90's.
 PES 2008
After the departures of key players such as Thierry Henry, Fredrik Ljungberg and Robert Pires many expected Fabregas to be Arsenal's main player in this version especially since his development in PES 6, however his stats were dropped significantly as well as his development curve.
Much like the previous two instalments of PES, he sees little improvement to his abilities. His Response has improved from 72 to 77, Short Pass Speed has changed from 78 to 82 and his Long Pass Accuracy has improved by two points to 84.
He has decreased in his Shot Power from 82 to 80.
 PES 2009
In PES 2009 his stats were raised significantly after many felt he was underrated but he still doesn't reach the heights of the Fabregas in PES 6.
The main focus area of his improvements was to his passing ability and partially his physical stats. His Short Pass Accuracy has improved from 85 to 90, his Short Pass Speed has improved from 82 to 86. His shooting abilities has also improved, especially his Shot Accuracy and Shot Technique. Finally onto his physical stats, his Agility improved from 80 to 86.
One of his vastly improved ability is his Teamwork which improved incredibly from 78 to 95, showing his chemistry with his fellow team mates. This will also improve his team mates movement into space to receive a pass. He has however decreased in Dribble Speed from 77 to 75.
He is seen as the star of Arsenal's midfield as he is their catalyst in attack and he is one of the brightest young talents in the world but finds it hard to cement a place in the national side's starting eleven due to Xavi and Iniesta deemed better players than him.
 PES 2010
Fabregas appears in the Spanish squad and with impressive performances for both club and country he has had a stat boost and many expect him to be one of the best players in this installment.
He has the card Talisman where he can then drive the team forward. His overall is 87 and at the age of 22, he still have time to improve and therefore should be able to reach the 90's and therefore become one of the best centre midfielders in the Master League.
He has very good stamina and therefore can last the whole match with ease and can play to the best of his ability for a longer period of time. He'll also suffer less fatigue and can play pretty much every match. His main skill is his passing ability which is one of the best in the game. He has 94 Short Pass Accuracy and 90 Long Pass Accuracy making him able to accurately place a pass anywhere. He also is a decent dribbler however not at speed. He does have decent shooting attributes so he is able to score from distance when required. Also if there isn't a good free kick taker in your squad, he's also capable of taking them. Another of his talents is his ability to control anything that comes to him, He has 92 Technique which is one of the finest in the game so he'll rarely make a poor touch. Finally his Teamwork is 95 and therefore he links and gels well with any team to improve performances.
His weaknesses is probably that he is very weak and can easily be pushed off the ball. Also he lacks pace on and off the ball.
Overall he would be a recommended signing for any team in Master League, however since he is a first team player and a very important player at that, it would be near impossible to sign him without being Arsenal.
 PES 2011
Fabregas again appears as the main man in the Arsenal midfield and has an overall rating of 86, and develops into one of the best players in the game. His stats have been adjusted a little: he lost some points in passing and teamwork but gained some in attack and shooting.
He is your typical central midfielder with good work ethic due to his Stamina of 90. He is also a very good passer in every department with a Short Pass Accuracy and Short Pass Speed of 91 and 86 respectively, therefore making him able to find a killer ball through the defence. In addition to this, his Long Pass Accuracy is 87 and Long Pass Speed is 84, thus he is one of the best long passers in the English League, however does lack behind Xabi Alonso and Xavi for Spain.
One advantage he has over the two other central midfielders is that he has a Technique of 92, enabling him to have a very good first touch of the ball. Additionally, he is a decent dribbler of the ball with a Dribble Accuracy of 87 and a Dribble Speed of 80, so he has it within him to break through the defence himself rather than pass.
Aside from his ball playing abilities he is an accomplished finisher of the ball with a Shot Accuracy of 85, however his Shot Power and Shot Technique are not as great. Because of this, he'll rarely find the net and more often than not be the mastermind behind each goal for your team.
Despite being a good all-round player, he does have his weaknesses, for one, he is relatively weak and slow, as he has a Body Balance of 73, Top Speed of 75 and an Acceleration of 78, therefore when he does have the ball, it is best for him to distribute it quickly as he'll struggle to beat his man. Furthermore, he is poor aerially with only a Jump of 73 and Heading of 70, so you should not expect him to win many aerial battles.
He is only 23, a very young age for such a good player which therefore means in Master League he has time to strengthen in his weaknesses. This leads to him being one of the best centre midfielders in terms of potential in the game.
He has the skill cards Marauding (improved reactions), Passer (better AI runs from team mates), PK Taker (more accurate penalties), Outside Curve and Roulette Skills, which in a sense aids his ability in being a playmaker.
He has the playstyle cards Free Roaming and Talisman which makes him take up the role of playmaker better.
 PES 2012
Fabregas signed for Barcelona and is featured in their side. He is one of the best midfielders in the game and can play in all the positions. His overall rating is 95 but still lacks behind Xavi and Iniesta who themselves have a 97 and 96 overall rating respectively. He is usually rotated between the two from the bench. He is quite an expensive choice and can be bought easily only with big teams.
 PES 2013
His overall rating remains unchanged and hence his ability does not change much. He is given a boost in Responsiveness',Stamina and slightly in Top Speed. His Short speed accuracy, Ball Control and Form ability are dropped very slightly. He receives the skill cards Weighted Pass, Double Touch and Flick(Sombrero) on PES 2013.
 PES 2014
He is registered as an AMF on PES 2014. His overall ability is reduced to 92 due to his lack of first team chances in real life with Barcelona. He is still a world class midfielder and can fit into many teams in the Master League. His best stats in this edition is Low Pass (92) and Ball Control (91).
 PES 2015
He is a Hole Player and plays comfortably in a CMF role as this is his new default role. His skills (Marseille Turn, Cut Behind & Turn, One-touch Pass and Weighted Pass) facilitate him providing world class assists to forwards such as Drogba, Hazard and Costa.
His ability is reduced significantly a drop in performance for Barcelona the previous season. His new overall ability is 86. He is at his peak with his best abilities being Low Pass (91) and Long-ball Accuracy (91). Sadly, there is no development for Cesc being 27 and is not recommended as he is old and expensive for the Master League.
