Gilberto Silva is a Brazilian defensive midfielder who currently plays for Greek side Panathinaikos. Gilberto is an essential member of the squad for whatever team he plays for due to his composure and accurate passing.

Even with his age, he still features for the Brazil squad occupying the Defensive or Centre Midfield position. His core stats for a centre midfield are quite good however the rest of his stats are quite mediocre. He has okay stamina and body balance (both 82) matched with good short pass accuracy and speed (both also 82) but very good aerial stats however he lacks speed, agility, shooting and dribbling abilities. He has the card Anchor Man which means he sits just in front of the back four and protects the line making sure that if a player is brought forward, he covers the area left behind.
