Israel are a nation located in Asia who play under UEFA and therefore are taken as part of Europe in football. They rarely cause upsets but they do have some decent players like Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun, goalkeeper Dudu Aouate, the Portsmouth center back Tal Ben-Haim, Espanyol striker Ben Sahar, Salim Tuama, Roberto Colautti and Elyaniv Barda.

They were first added in PES 2008, but appeared in PES 6 as a Unplayable team.

Due to the official language in Israel being Hebrew (which uses the Hebrew alphabet, not Latin), players may have more than one transliterated name.
