Iván de la Peña is a Spanish footballer who plays for Espanyol. He usually plays in the centre midfielder role for the Spanish team and is their free kick taker. He has reached his peak in previous PES titles and now is in the decline of his development in PES 2009.

He is one of Espanyol's best players with his great passing ability. Although his lack of stamina (70) lets him down as he needs to be substituted every game because he simply cannot last the full 90 minutes.

He has represented his country in real life but has never been part of the Spanish squad on PES.

He is another FC Barcelona youth product next to Mikel Arteta, Cesc Fabregas, Pepe Reina, Fran Merida, Giovani dos Santos, Sergio Garcia and Albert Luque.
