J. League Division 1 is the top football league in Japan, and it is comprised of 18 teams. It is featured only in the Winning Eleven series, the Japanese version of PES. Teams that finish in the last positions when the season ends are relegated to J. League Division 2, which is also featured in the Japanese version and it is, as of now, the very first licensed second football tier in the whole WE/PES series. Hence, both these leagues make up the first fully licensed promotion-relegation system ever featured in a WE/PES game. The current holders of the J. League Division 1 title are Sanfrecce Hiroshima. It includes hundreds of preset faces and don't have build faces in the league.
