Pennant is a former Arsenal youngster but like Matthew Upson and David Bentley who were told they were not good enough he has rebuilt his career elsewhere and looking at brighter options and maybe even an England call-up. Pennant is a vital player at Liverpool as they only have 2 other natural side midfielders in Benayoun and Riera.
