John Heitinga is a Dutch footballer of mixed Dutch and Indonesian parentage who plays his club football for Everton. In PES08 he was arguably Holland and Atletico's best defender. He has a Master League peak of 90 making him one of the best centre backs available at the start of the game. Despite not being particularly tall for a centre back he is still useful in the air.
