His stats started to deteriorate after Tomasson left Villareal to return to his former club Feyenoord.

Tomasson stats deteriorated with age but he still is a quality finisher and can tuck away a goal almost anywhere inside the penalty area. In Master League it may not be wise to buy him straight away, well not for a long period, as it would be better for him to be reborn as a 17 year old youngster.
In real life he retired at the end of the season for injury problems first suffered during the 2010 World Cup.
