Kolo Toure (pronounced TOOR-ay) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Manchester City. He is a centre back who can also play right back if needed to and is known for his pace and strength. He is also an international for Ivory Coast.

PES 4

Kolo appears in this version alongside Sol Campbell in defence for Arsenal along with Lauren Etame and Ashley Cole whom have all now left the club. Kolo is a decent player in this game but doesn't develop into the best of defenders.

PES 5

Toure becomes one of Arsenal's main defender as Campbell ages in the Master League making Toure the more agile of the two centre backs. This is the first game in which Kolo receives a Preset Face.

PES 6

Toure is in the Arsenal squad with new defensive partner William Gallas following his move from Chelsea. Toure is a recommended signing in this version as his strength and pace along with his defensive ability makes him one of the best defender's in the game.

PES 2008

Toure appears for the now licensed Ivory Coast side partnering Marco Zoro in defence. Toure has a good development curve in this version of the game but is very close to his peak.

PES 2009

With a very similar development curve and stats to PES08 and there is not much change in his playing style and development.

PES 2010

Toure plays for Manchester City which is the first time in a PES in which he hasn't appeared for Arsenal. He potentially will partner Joleon Lescott in defence in a new look squad.

Trivia

Kolo has a footballing brother named Yaya Toure who is currently playing his trade for Barcelona and they both feature for the Ivory Coast national side.
In previous versions of PES, Kolo had a duplicate named Tone before Ivory Coast were licensed.

Tactics

In the game he is a very reliable defender thanks to his speed passing ability tackling and threat in the air. Toure also has a very powerful shot, which can reach 97 in the Master League however his accuracy doesn't follow his power.

If taken up for a corner using the Player to go up feature in setplay settings then he can be a real menace in the air and can score a few goals.
