During the season that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 was out Lassana was registered as a Chelsea player when in fact he had joined Arsenal on the transfer window deadline but due to being predominantly behind Mathieu Flamini he moved to Portsmouth and never features for Arsenal.

In PES 2009 Lassana features in the Portsmouth side and is seen as a midfield dynamo along with Sulley Muntari. But after the February Update, he moves to Real Madrid. In Master League Mode if you can get Lassana to switch clubs again he will be a very valuable midfielder as he has got a great development curve.

He features the card, Anchor Man which means when attacking or defending, he will sit deep and hold the back line. He also makes his debut for the French national team and is a key figure in both teams and is likened to a Claude Makelele role.
