[edit] Players

[edit] PES 2011

Liverpool is a team that is more than adequate in all areas but doesnt really excel. Altogether the team is very capable and can be put to great use, however they are never really considered as a 'super' team on the game. However, a midfield containing Steven Gerrard, Lucas Leiva and Raul Meireles linking up with Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez can set up great play and goals. They are also supported by players such as Stewart Downing and Dirk Kuyt on the wings as well as both fullbacks Glen Johnson and Fabio Aurelio who can play an important role in an attacking move.

[edit] PES 2012

Basically the same as PES 2011, Liverpool is a balanced team in all areas but doesn't excel. With a great aerial player such as Andy Carroll, a good tactic is to put wingers such as Stewart Downing and Dirk Kuyt, then crossing to Andy Carroll finish it. Also Steven Gerrard has a great passing ability, and can easily put through balls to Luis Suarez to try and score from.

[edit] PES 2013

Liverpool made a large clear-out with Dirk Kuyt, Craig Bellamy and Alberto Aquilani all leaving the club. They, however, brought in new faces like loanee Nuri Sahin, Joe Allen and Fabio Borini. In January they bought Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea.

[edit] PES 2014

After another disappointing season, Liverpool reinforced their squad with the additions of Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho, Iago Aspas among others. Andy Carroll, Jonjo Shelvey and Stewart Downing all went the other way. Pepe Reina also left, but temporarily (on a season-long loan) to Napoli. The new SAS partnership (Suarez and Sturridge) has turn out to be a big success, and can be replicated on PES.

[edit] PES 2015

After a stellar performance in the Premier League finishing 2nd, Liverpool get a stat raise, however the sale of their best player Luis Suarez to Barcelona weakens them significantly. They replace him with Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli. They also sign Lazar Markovic, Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Alberto Moreno and Emre Can. Pepe Reina, Daniel Agger and Martin Kelly all part the club.
