Liverpool FC (also known as Merseyside Red on PES due to lack of Premier League licenses) have appeared on every edition of Pro Evolution Soccer to date. Liverpool have recently become licensed on Pro Evolution Soccer 2009.

Players

Liverpool is a team that is more than adequate in all areas but doesnt really excell. Altogether the team is very capable and can be put to great use, however they are never really considered as a 'super' team on the game. However, a midfield containing Steven Gerrard, Javier Mascherano and Alberto Aquilani linking up with Fernando Torres can set up great play and goals. They are also supported by players such as Yossi Benayoun and Dirk Kuyt on the wings.

The team is also seen as a good one to use in Master League due to the presence of many of Liverpool's young academy players such as Stephen Darby, Krisztian Nemeth and Damien Plessis. Lucas Leiva and Fernando Torres also develop to become Elite players of the game.
