Lúcio is an experienced Brazilian defender who plays for Internazionale after moving from Bayern Munich. He is also captain of the Brazil national team. He is considered Brazil's best defender although the likes of Naldo have challenged his position recently. His height (1.88) makes him useful in the air and hard to beat.

In this game he is an attack minded player with 75 attack making him push forward at every opportunity. To back this up, he has the cards Extra Attacker, making him push forward when needed to, Man Marking and Covering making him a much more useful defender when not pushed forward.

His major flaw as a player is that he lacks speed with only 80 top speed and 75 acceleration making him easily beaten in a sprint race.

However from a standing position he has 90 Body Balance making him tough to push off the ball, therefore making him stronger in the tackles. He has 88 Defence making his positional sense as a defender better hence he won't have to run as much to the ball. He has reasonable jump matched with his high skilled heading making him useful in the air.
