They made their series debut as an unlicensed team named Lloyd.

[edit] PES 4 - 2008

They appeared as an unlicensed team named Man Blue.

[edit] PES 2009

Manchester City are renowned for the attacking contingent of their squad. Players like Shaun Wright-Phillips, Craig Bellamy, Martin Petrov, Stephen Ireland and star player Robinho make up an extreme force going forward, however leaving the defense slightly isolated. The team is very much centred around its attack, with a lot less quality in the back line and sub defense.

[edit] PES 2010

After a spending spree in the summer of 2009, City have a new look squad in PES 2010 and look to be a force to be reckoned with. New faces include Emmanuel Adebayor, Gareth Barry, Carlos Tevez, Joleon Lescott and Kolo Toure whom all strengthen the areas in which seemed weak in previous installments.

[edit] PES 2012

They appeared as an unlicensed team named Man Blue. After another spending spree in the summer, City have a better squad in PES 2012 and looks to be a force to be reckoned with. New faces are Sergio Aguero, Stefan Savic, Samir Nasri, Owen Hargreaves, Gael Clichy and Costel Pantilimon. However good players like Jerome Boateng, Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips left.

With the arrival of Nasri, this allows for David Silva to play more central, directly in the channels between the opposition midfield and defence. Furthermore with Aguero now in the squad, this provides City with one of the strongest strike forces not only in the league, but in the whole game. Carlos Tevez can be paired with Sergio Aguero for a more patient approach or Edin Dzeko can be used with either striker to provide a more direct attack.

[edit] PES 2013

After winning the 2011/2012 English Premier League, Manchester City players are given some stats increases as well as new preset-faces. Captain Vincent Kompany, keeper Joe Hart, playmaker David Silva and striker Sergio Aguero are all given stats increases, while reserve keepers Costel Pantilimon and Stuart Taylor, defender Stefan Savic and striker John Guidetti all received preset-faces. Manchester City also embarked on another spending spree in the summer of 2012, with the likes of Maicon, Matija Nastasic, Richard Wright, Javi Garcia and Scott Sinclair all arriving at the club while reserve keeper Stuart Taylor, defender Stefan Savic, and midfielders Nigel De Jong, Owen Hargreaves and Adam Johnson all departed the club.
