Many consider Manchester United to have been one of the easiest teams to win with throughout the PES Series. In this installment, this can be put down mainly to a solid back 3 of Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Edwin Van Der Sar and to there attacking flair through players like Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez, Dimitar Berbatov and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Manchester United squad is also quite deep and players like Park Ji Sung, Nani and Anderson can be brought on to change the game. They are one of the best teams on PES 2008. Man United have a fierce rivalry with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and more recently Chelsea, matches between these sides always fill the stadium.
