[edit] PES 2009

They are one of the best teams on PES 2009, where they were fully licensed for the second time since they lost the licensing to Newcastle and Tottenham in PES 2008.

Due to having great players in their armory, they were a favorite team to play Online as their strikers are able to break through defenses with ease. With players like Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez up front, they formed one of the most deadliest strike partnerships up front.

[edit] PES 2010

Again in this installment, Man United are once again licensed.

Even after the selling of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez they are still a very good team to be. This can be put down mainly to the solid back 3 of Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, backed up by Edwin van der Sar in net and to their attacking flair through players like Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov. The Manchester United squad is also quite deep and players like Park Ji-Sung, Nani and Anderson can be brought on to change the game.

New signings consist of Michael Owen, Antonio Valencia and Gabriel Obertan, 2 good players at the beginning with Gabriel Obertan having great potential much considered to be similar to Nani's.

[edit] PES 2011

Once again, Manchester United are one of the two licensed Premier League teams along with Tottenham Hotspur. With players, Edwin van der Sar, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand all ageing, the squad is becoming gradually weaker. Youth has been brought in, in terms of Javier Hernandez and Chris Smalling which do provide high potential for back-up players.

They are also becoming less popular on the Online Mode due to this ageing squad. They are however still a good choice in Master League due to the high amount of money that they have available.

[edit] PES 2012

United feature as one of 6 playable teams in the first demo where they are seen as the second best team in the demo, behind Milan. They have a strong batch of youth mixed with several senior players making them have one of the best all-round teams in the game. Their key players are Wayne Rooney, Nani, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Antonio Valencia. Summer signings David de Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young provide extra depth and high potential for Master League.

Good young players for Master League include Rafael, Anderson, Javier Hernandez, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Fabio. Therefore Man United would be a good choice to play with during Master League.
