Maniche is a Portuguese football player who plays for 1. FC Koln after being released from Atletico Madrid. In previous PES games he was seen as a world class player but age has deteriorated his stats slightly. His brother Jorge Ribeiro was in Portugal's Euro 2008 squad while Maniche surprisingly wasn't leading him to lose his place in the Portugal squad in PES 2009. He does not appear in PES 2009 but does on the PS2 version and later in the February Update.
