Hossam Mido is an Egyptian international footballer who plays for Zamalek on loan from Middlesbrough. He is known as a good but controversial striker and in PES 2009 his stats are significantly lower than in previous versions. He is also absent from the Egypt squad after consistently being left out in real life. He also doesn't have a preset face on PS3 versions of the game (despite having a preset in previous versions of the game) in a similar manner to players such as Dietmar Hamann, Dwight Yorke, Nwankwo Kanu and Jari Litmanen who are considered too old to warrant presets now.
