AS Monaco are a French club playing in Ligue 1. Monaco have some very good players as they have signed Freddy Adu on loan from Benfica and PES Legend Park Chu Young, French Prodigy Jeremy Menez (who recently left for Roma) and experienced Croatian defender Dario Simic. They are the only foreign-based club to play in Ligue 1 as Monaco is considered a separate country outside football.
