He is underrated in the game as many believe he should have similar stats to Rio Ferdinand.

His stats have been improved but still are distant from Rio Ferdinand's and Vidic is still considered under rated. He has high defence and body balance which makes him very good when defending. However he does lack pace which could give some attackers the advantage, especially when playing against him with high tempo. He is however very good in the air and will pretty much win everything that comes to him. He also has the Man Marking skill card which will help him when defending.
Surprisingly for a player of his age, he actually has a little bit of development left in him, with his stats still increasing (albeit by a very small amount) for at least two seasons. So in Master League he is a worthwhile player to have even after a few seasons have passed.

Vidic was signed by Ferguson being somewhat an unknown player but has since shone helping Man Utd to League and Champions League success. Vidic is also known for is aerial ability and grabs a good handful of goals.
