PSV is one of the best teams in Netherlands. They have a very young team and with players like Dries Mertens, Georginio Wijnaldum, Kevin Strootman, Ola Toivonen, Luciano Narsingh and Tim Matavz they have a great team for the future. They also have Mark van Bommel as their captain. Their biggest rivals are Ajax and Feyenoord. PSV won the UEFA Cup in 1978 and the Champions League in 1988. In 2005 they almost reach the Champions League final after AC Milan beat PSV Eindhoven on the away goals rule to reach the European Cup final.

In the last 15 years Ajax won only once at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven. Against Feyenoord, PSV has the usually more difficult than against Ajax.
