Petr Cech (pronounced Check) is a member of the Chelsea squad and Czech Republic national team. He is generally regarded as one of the best keepers in PES2008, forming a solid trio with John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho at the heart of the Chelsea team. Cech's stats and age make him a favourite in Master League mode for many players.

He is the only player in the game to wear headgear, this is because he suffered a skull fracture after colliding with Stephen Hunt's knee which has left him playing in a padded hat for the rest of his career.
