Real Sociedad are a Spanish club playing in La Liga, the highest tier of Spanish football. They reside in the Basque heartland much like their rivals Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna.

Similarly they have a Cantera youth system which brings only Basque players up through their ranks. However unlike Bilbao they have signed a few international players over the years which was also followed by Osasuna.
