Rigobert Song is a Cameroonian center back who plays for Trabzonspor of Turkey after leaving Galatasaray of four years. Rigobert is currently Cameroon's most capped player with more than 120 caps for his side and he is the current captain of the team. Song is a solid defender but does make a few mistakes.

In PES 2009 as it was released Song was part of the Galatasaray team and formed a good partnership with Servet Cetin but after the November Update he was removed from the side but remained in the game thanks to being in the Cameroon national side.

Song is a top defender but is prone to a few errors and is quite old, so it is suggested that if he is bought it is when he regenerates in Master League. His nephew Alex Song plays for English side Arsenal.
