Rio Ferdinand is an English footballer of Saint Lucian descent. In PES he forms an excellent partnership with Nemanja Vidic for Manchester United and with John Terry for England. Rio is considered one of the best centre backs in the game due to his height, strength and speed. Also if brought up for set pieces he will score a fair share of goals.

He is the older brother of Anton Ferdinand (who has a higher peak than Rio) and cousin of Classic England player Les Ferdinand.
