Robert Enke (pronounced EN-ka) was a German goalkeeper who last played for Hannover 96.

PES 2009

Despite his club not featuring in the game, Enke is found in the Germany squad under the fake name Elka. In the game, he is a top goalkeeper due to his reaction saves but not a recommended signing in Master League as there are much better keepers in the market.

PES 2010

Enke appeared in this installment in the newly licensed Germany squad as the first choice goalkeeper and although he inherited his previous stats, he was given a preset face.

However PES 2010 is set to be Enke's last appearance as he passed away shortly after the game's release, although it is likely he will appear in the Classic Germany squad in future installments.

It is also unknown whether he will be removed from the game after the transfer update is installed.
