Ryan Babel (pronounced BAH-b'l) is a footballer for the Netherlands and Liverpool. He usually plays up front but due to his pace he can be deployed as a side midfielder as well as a winger.

PES 6

In PES 6 Babel playing for Ajax was the player to sign as he had an immense development curve and him and Fernando Torres were both fan favourites and considered the best strikers on the game before the pair of them signed for Liverpool in the same summer.

PES 2008

After the jump to next-gen, Babel's development curve suffered a lot like most of the elite players in PES 6, as although he had good stats he didn't develop particularly well and wasn't a recommended signing.

PES 2009

Babel in this game he has a potential of 90 after having his development curve raised again following his disappointing curve in PES 2008, making him a recommended signing in this version although he is hard to sign.
