Ryan Shawcross is an English defender playing for Stoke City. He is also eligible to play for Wales through his parents. Shawcross is a tough tackling defender who came through the Manchester United academy but his stats in PES 2009 are very poor but as he is only young he has time to develop into a decent strong centre half. He is also tipped for a bright future so if Stoke can avoid relegation he should be given a significant stat boost in the next installment.
